As early as 30 years old, therefore, you should already start thinking about your bone health and increase your consumption of foods rich in calcium or fortified with calcium, or alternatively, take Calcium supplements. Yet taking calcium alone without Vitamin D is useless because Vitamin D is necessary in the absorption of calcium. Folic acid helps prevent neural birth defects. As such doctors always recommend 400 mcg of this vitamin daily if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant. You can get your daily source of folic acid from whole grains, fresh orange juice, and other foods fortified with folic acid. There are also folic acid supplements or multivitamins containing folic acid that are readily available for your consumption.
The need to exercise, eat the right foods, avoid stress, and take vitamins for women in their 30s should not be taken for granted at all if you want to fully appreciate what it means to be 30!
